The daily student life!!!
As a student here at Journey Masters Commission you will be dipping your hand in many areas of ministry, as far as the childrens department even toward the community we deal with a variety of hands on projects. Through out the week we serve the community from visiting nursing homes to boys and girls clubs, showing the kids and elderly the love of God.
The Week:
A week with Journey MC would consist of:

Workouts in the morning, not only do we believe in being spiritually fit but to also stay phisically fit.

Followed by workout in the morning would be what we like to call “Concert of prayer”. Concert of Prayer is probably the most needed part of the day, this is the time where we take time and seek God, where we come to the father in worship and in truth. During this time we play worship music, dim the lights and worship God in any way we would like. Its a great way to start off the day feeling refreshed!

Concert of prayer is followed by our study block of the day. Our students have two study blocks, one in the morning and another right after lunch. Our study block helps us dive into the word of God and allows us to know Him a little better.
Classes:
Here at Journey MC we have different types of classes on different days of the week. Our classes would be, computer class, where we learn to do things from designing to creating spread sheets and even video editing . Another class we have here ar Journey MC would be our Creative Block, during our creative blocks we learn skits, dramas and even prepare our testimonies, this block of the day helps us prepare for the services we do on the road. During our first semester, we have practical classes which help us develop general life skills. During our second semester we dive into budgeting with Dave Ramsey’s Finanicial Peace University classes, where we learn how to handle and budget our money.
Curriculum:
The curriculum we provide at JMC is West Coast Bible College. In this course the students will be earning their AA in biblical studies. The students are required to finish this course in order to graduate. JMC is also required to memorize five scriptures a week and test on 20 scriptures over the course of four weeks. Our goal is to help memorize in your heart to speak what the Word says and to train, disciple, and get the Word of God into your heart. We do read several books over the 9 month period the student are here, these books help teach the students better ways to handle situations and how to become the man or woman God has called you to be.
